Knool Cards - The basics

This article covers basic functionality of a Knool card

The basic building blocks of Knool is the Knool Card; summarized and data tagged snippets of information that is easy to consume, review, and search through. Knool cards are what power all of Knool's AI assisted features.

Knool card overview

Once you upload a document Knool will start creating Knool cards. Content of the Knool cards depend on the type document you add and the information in contains. Throughout Knool, you'll see these cards, usually in its summary view form.

Knool will automatically add a title and summary on each card, which you can edit as needed.

To view detailed information of a card, click the 'See details' button

Detailed View

Detailed view of a Knool card contains summary information, page citations, date references, significance, key quotes and more. You can also view the page where the Knool card extraction started so you can quickly review information and verify information for accuracy.

Editing a card

To edit card information, click the Edit button on the card. You can also remove any information you need. Note that card title and summary are required fields.

Once you're done editing, you can save changes or cancel changes to revert back to the previously saved state.

Verifying a card

Once you have quickly reviewed the card for accuracy or have edited automatically generated information, you can click Verify to make the card as verified.

Card verification ensures you have a verified and trusted set of data that can be used in Timelines and Work Products and more. Throughout Knool you will also find quick filters for verified cards to make looking for information easier.

Deleting a card

If needed, you can delete a Knool card by clicking the delete button.

Deleting a card is permanent and cannot be reversed
